Town Centre Project
Bury St Edmunds
The project formed part of a restoration of a Victorian building, back into residential homes, with each of the townhouses having been totally stripped back to its core, meticulously brought back to life with the benefit of modern thermal up-grading, many with new floors and all completely re-plastered and decorated with a tasteful colour palette.
Through the renovation process, the houses have had complete new wiring throughout, a modern heating system and new plumbing installed. In many ways, the new owner will have the benefit of a ‘new house’ yet able to enjoy the unique original character of the original building. Where appropriate, the development included many new handmade windows or restoration of the original frames.
The houses offer quite unique three-storey accommodation, comprising a brand new kitchen/breakfast room which is fitted with contemporary units with integrated fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, 4-ring hob, oven and extractor.
The properties have their own west-facing garden, recently fenced with stone paving and gravelled, with pedestrian gate giving access to the rear parking area with its own allocated parking space.
